Composition Summer School 2016
From September 8th to 14th, eight young composers from around the world have met in neimënster where they worked on their new pieces especially written for the occasion, but not only! During the week, they have also attended one-to-one tutorials with the two invited composers of this year: Isabel Mundry and Marcel Reuter, lectures, workshops with the musicians, a meeting with composer Alexander Schubert and several concerts.
Final showcase concert
The Composition Summer School 2016 ended up on September 14th with an exceptional concert, presenting the fruitful work made during this intense week – the eight brand new pieces of these eight talented young composers!
